This is a premium flat-pack kit version of our Ultra-Widebody VPin cabinet, made from high-quality black-coated birch plywood. It includes all the same features as the fully assembled version but is shipped in a more space-efficient package, significantly reducing shipping costs. We designed the cabinet to ensure that assembly is super easy. The panels of the main cabinet have 5-axis milled connectors on the edges, allowing you to do a complete dry-fit assembly using the provided Allen key before you decide to glue it. When gluing, you won't need clamps, as the connectors are self-clamping.

The panels of the cabinet are precisely manufactured from high-quality black-coated birch plywood. This feature-rich ultra-widebody cabinet is the ideal starting point for your DIY Virtual Pinball project. It includes a unique adjustable monitor holder for 48" playfield screens, a backglass monitor holder for up to 32" screens, a powder-coated full DMD speaker panel for 15.6" displays, backbox hinges, a flexible shelving system for mounting VPin feedback devices and your PC, and much more.

Assembly of the cabinet takes about 2 hours when following our step-by-step guide with detailed pictures and instructions. For dry-fitting, you'll only need the Allen key and a Phillips screwdriver. For the final, permanent assembly, you'll also need regular wood glue. Although this is a kit, no woodworking is required on your part. Simply clean excess glue from the edges with a towel, leave it to dry overnight, and you're done. Developed with feedback and support from the Virtual Pinball community. More

Premium Ultra-widebody Flat-Pack Kit Like No Other

No need for clamps, sanding, painting or hiding screw heads with a filler - we’ve made assembly super easy! You’ll only need an Allen key (provided), a Phillips screwdriver, a bit of wood glue, and about 2 hours to put the whole cabinet together. There are no exposed edges that need sanding and painting. All necessary screws are included, and every hole is pre-drilled in the right spot. You don’t even need to glue the cabinet at first—just assemble it for a dry-fit to familiarize yourself with all the parts by following our detailed guide, with illustrations that walk you through every single step. This way, the cabinet can be disassembled anytime.

However, you should glue the main body once you’re ready to start playing, as the connectors combined with glue will create a super-strong permanent joint. 5-axis machined Lamello connectors, hidden in 45-degree edges, are self-clamping. Simply apply glue to the edges, lock the Lamello connector with an Allen key, wipe away any excess glue with a towel, and leave it to set overnight. Here are some photos from when we did a dry-fit assembly right in our workshop.

Advanced CNC Routing

For manufacturing parts of the cabinet, we use an industrial-grade 5-axis flat-table CNC router. This allows us to create a Vpin cabinet unlike any other on the market, combining advanced features with maximum precision.

Quality Birch Plywood

The main cabinet and backbox are entirely constructed from 18mm black-coated birch plywood. Internal components, such as monitor holders, are made from 15mm dark brown-coated birch plywood. The coated surface is perfectly flat, making it ideal for the super easy application of decals.

Strong Glued Joints

The joints of the main body are milled with hidden Lamello connectors. Combined with glue, these connectors create strong joints while maintaining clean, unexposed corners—allowing decals to be applied without the need for sanding, puttying imperfections, and painting. While the main body should be permanently glued after the dry-fit, the backbox should remain assembled using only the provided furniture connectors, allowing it to be fully disassembled and reassembled if needed.

Pre-drilled Leg Mounting Holes

For each leg, three holes are precisely drilled. The first and second holes are for use with 28.5" pinball legs, while the second and third holes are for use with longer 30.5" pinball legs. The unused hole is always hidden. The delivery also includes 4 leg spacers made of wood. We recommend using it ideally with the Williams/Bally leg brackets #01-11400-1.

Adjustable Playfield Holder

This is an ultra-widebody cabinet, so it can accommodate 48" screens. It has been built around the popular 48" LG OLED C4/C5 TV, so we highly recommend grabbing one of these C models. However, it’s designed to be as universal as possible to ensure it's futureproof. So, if you decide to upgrade your playfield screen in the future, you may not even need to modify the holder. It supports monitors and TVs with VESA mount systems of 100x100, 200x200, and 200x300.

The screen position can be adjusted left to right, back and forth, and even slightly up and down. Plus, the holder can be easily adjusted between the "classic" lowered position and the currently more preferred parallel-to-the-glass position by simply unscrewing, repositioning, and tightening a few screws (all screws are provided and holes are pre-drilled).

Please follow our detailed manual to learn how to assemble the playfield holder and adjust it between these two positions if needed.

Parallel-to-the-glass position:

"Classic" lowered position:

The photo below shows the playfield with a mounted LG OLED 48" C4/C5 in a "Parallel-to-the-glass" position. As you can see, the TV screen basically covers the entire area - side to side and front to back - leaving no space for LED strips on the sides or an LED matrix in the back. Note that having the TV screen span from side to side is one of the key features and a major reason why some people may prefer an ultra-widebody cabinet. If you would also like to have LED strips installed on the sides of the monitor, we suggest purchasing our regular widebody cabinet, which has enough room to accommodate them.

The photos below show the playfield set in the alternative “Classic” lowered position with a mounted LG OLED 48" C4/C5. As you can see, there is still no room for LED strips on the sides. However, by lowering the playfield, you create some space behind it to optionally install pinball flashers or an LED matrix.

Safety Straps

When working on your cabinet, be sure to secure the playfield using the provided straps. While the playfield can stay in a vertical position on its own, these straps are there to give you extra peace of mind—ensuring that no accidents happen! This all works, of course, only if the backbox is securely tightened to the main body with the two provided bolts, so it cannot fold down. Be sure to check that out too.

Backglass Monitor Holder

The backbox can accommodate 32" monitors. Once the monitor is attached to the holder, it can be easily adjusted in the up/down direction, as well as back and forth, and is compatible with VESA 75x75 and 100x100 mounting systems.

Lockable Backbox

The rear side of the backbox is lockable. A camlock and a set of two keys are included. The rear panel can be completely removed once unlocked. Compared to hinges, we consider this a more practical solution, as the cabinet doesn't need to be moved too far from the wall to allow access.

Clear Acrylic Backglass Panel with Locking Mechanism

A 3 mm clear acrylic lasercut backbox panel is included. Simply slide the panel into the prepared slot (1), snap the bottom part into the slots on the speaker panel (2), and then secure it with the provided screw (3).

Full DMD Metal Speaker Panel

Powder-coated press-bent sheet metal panel, designed for 15.6" DMD screens, with installed black MDF inserts for easy mounting of 5.25" speakers and LED strips.

Routed T-Molding and Glass Channel Slots

The side panels of the backbox have routed T-molding slots. T-molding slots are also routed on the side panels of the main body to accommodate the glass channels.

Backbox Hinges

Powder-coated metal hinges are also included with the cabinet. The second photo also shows cutouts at the back of the cabinet for two standard 120 mm fans and a power socket.

Internal Shelving, Partitions, and Milled Openings for Buttons

Designed for mounting electronics, the PC, and feedback devices. The cabinet's side panels come pre-drilled, allowing you to organize the internal components however you prefer. Only the opening for the start button is milled on the front coin door panel. The milled openings for additional buttons are located under the cabinet at the front for easy access. This placement follows the latest trends, aiming for a clean and minimalist design, closely matching the look of real modern pinball machines. The bottom panel of the cabinet also has cutouts for a 120 mm fan, a 6.5" subwoofer and a USB port.

The position of cutouts for magnasave buttons relative to the flipper buttons aligns with the general consensus of the VPin community on the most ergonomic placement.

Here are some examples of possible shelving arrangements—all without the need to drill anything yourself:

Optional TUKKARI Siderails (NEW!)

The Tukkari Ultra-widebody Vpin cabinet is compatible with a wide range of available pinball parts (excluding the lockdown bar; please see below). The list of compatible parts also includes the classic slim Williams-style siderails offered by most pinball parts suppliers. However, if you’d like to add siderails with integrated button guards to your cabinet, you’ll find that suitable options are virtually impossible to buy. That’s why we decided to make our own. Our TUKKARI siderails come in a black powder-coated finish and can now be ordered together with your Vpin cabinet as an optional accessory.

Optional Ultra-widebody Lockdown Bar with Action Button (NEW!)

There’s no readily available lockdown bar for the TUKKARI ultra-widebody cabinets from pinball parts vendors. Ultra-wide lockdown bar need to be exactly 40 mm wider than a regular off-the shelf lockdown bar for widebody cabinets. Historically, no real pinball machines were ever made in an ultra-widebody cabinet, so such a lockdown bar must be custom-made.

But don’t worry — we’ve got this covered! We offer a black powder-coated ultra-widebody lockdown bar with an action button, designed to perfectly match our ultra-widebody cabinets and our TUKKARI siderails. Our ultra-widebody lockdown bar does not require a receiver; instead, it uses two simple clamps and can now be ordered as an optional accessory together with your Vpin cabinet.

Last but not least—nothing is left to chance when it comes to packing! The sturdy wooden crate ensures your cabinet parts stays safe, even on a journey halfway across the globe.
